The Spectrum magazine is a free quarterly online publication published by the National Autistic Society.  It claims to be one of the “UK’s largest collections of autistic art, poetry and prose”.  The magazine is created and edited by people with autism and contains a wealth of information, including articles and reflections of life on the spectrum.  By accessing this website, you can instantly download their latest issue in PDF or you could subscribe to a paper version for a fee.  There are also links to a community whereby you can connect with other autistic people.

Please note that we’ve referred to “autistic people” and “people with autism” to try to reflect the different ways that people would like to be identified.
